Take A Book Leave A Book. Take a Book Leave a Book. At a Little Free Library anyone can take a book and leave a book so they can get something new to read and share books that they love with their neighbors.
Often set up in front of homes the libraries encourage neighbors to pick up a book or leave a one behind. 50 to 70 glue 30 to 50 water or half a 35mm film canister full usually works well but use your judgment given the thickness and size of the book. Or just take a book at the Little Free Library.
The program hopes to install a total of 50 of these boxes throughout the city by spring 2018.
The idea is that anyone is free to take a book or leave a book from the Little Free Library. Community members are encouraged to donate their old books and to take one for themselves and then repeat the exchange process so that all of the residents books are shared.
